Support the next step
There is a way for everyone to help.
You do not have to make a big donation to make a difference. Share a useful skill, bring people together, introduce us to someone who can help—or give what you can towards the next stage.

A shared ambition. A little help.
Give what you can.
Help the next step happen.
Every contribution helps move the community hall project forward. Together, we can turn a local ambition into a place where people feel they belong.
Supporting Phase One
Your gift supports the project’s early work: design, surveys, consultation and preparation for planning.
Contributions support the project’s early work. Donations currently go through JustGiving; this website does not take card payments.
Architecture, surveying, planning, legal work, communications and fundraising experience can all be useful at this stage.
Start a conversation with neighbours, organise a fundraiser or help a local group tell us what it needs from a hall.

Good preparation makes progress possible.
Before a building can be delivered, the project needs design work, site and technical surveys, legal preparation, consultation and a planning application. These steps turn a promising idea into something that can be assessed, costed and funded responsibly.
Fundraising for construction is a later stage. We will explain that transition as permissions, scope and costs become clearer, rather than treating the planning and building phases as the same task.
Professional help can go a long way.
If you are an architect or work in the built environment, we would welcome a conversation about the hall brief and design. Advice from people with experience of accessibility, community buildings, project delivery and sustainable operation is particularly valuable.
Businesses can also contribute expertise, practical help, materials, introductions or fundraising. We can discuss a useful contribution without assuming that every supporter can make a financial donation.
The August 2026 update invited benefactors to discuss underwriting a planning-stage shortfall of up to £5,000, with possible room naming recognition. Please contact the team for the current position and terms before making a commitment.
Every contribution is part of the story.
We’re grateful to the neighbours, volunteers, local businesses and organisations who are helping bring the hall closer to reality.
Thank you to Vistry Homes, Holdcroft Hyundai, Morris Homes, Lyme Green MOT Centre, Shell Garage, HKO Vehicles, Cheshire Paint Repair, Hulley Road MOT Centre, Sutton Parish Council, L&J Print, Park 4All @ Lyme Green and Pour Moi for their support. A special thank you also goes to Cyril Benson for his swimathon, and to everyone who has organised a fundraiser, shared their skills or made a donation.
Every gift of time, expertise or money helps. Thank you for being part of it.
Start with what you can offer.
Share a skill
Could you help with design, surveying, planning, legal work or fundraising? Tell us what you do and the kind of time you could offer. A short conversation can help us work out where your experience would be most useful.
Bring an idea
A coffee morning, a sponsored challenge or a fundraiser with your club could help people get involved. Get in touch before making arrangements so we can discuss the idea and any practical support needed.
Make a connection
You may know a business, local group or potential supporter we should speak to. An introduction can open a useful conversation. You can also help simply by sharing the project with a neighbour.
Questions before you help?
