Who is responsible
Lyme Green Community Hall CIO, registered charity number 1212589, is responsible for personal information received through contact about this project. Privacy enquiries can be sent to lgcommunityhall@outlook.com.
What this website collects
This is a static website. It has no contact forms, user accounts, analytics, advertising or embedded social-media tools. We do not set cookies and the website does not itself collect names, email addresses or payment details.
Like most websites, the hosting service may process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This will normally include your name, email address, message and any details relevant to your enquiry, suggestion, donation, volunteering interest or offer of business support.
We use that information to:
- respond to your message;
- manage offers of help, volunteering or professional support;
- keep an appropriate record of project correspondence; and
- meet legal, financial or charity-governance obligations where they apply.
Our legal basis will normally be our legitimate interest in communicating with residents and delivering the charity’s purposes. Where you ask us to take a specific step, we also use the information to deal with that request. We will ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who receives your information
Information is only available to trustees, authorised volunteers or service providers who need it for the purpose described above. We do not sell personal information or provide it to other organisations for their marketing.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or to obtain professional advice. Email and website suppliers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and data-protection arrangements.
How long we keep it
Routine enquiries are kept only while they are being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records connected with donations, agreements, governance or legal obligations may need to be retained for longer. Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of.
External services and map
Buttons and links to JustGiving and Facebook open those organisations’ websites. They control the information collected there under their own privacy and cookie notices. Their tracking tools are not embedded in this website.
The location map on the plans page is supplied by OpenStreetMap. It is loaded from OpenStreetMap only when that page and map come into view. OpenStreetMap will receive technical information needed to provide the map, which may include your IP address and browser details. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:
- provide a copy of your personal information;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer need;
- restrict or object to how information is used; or
- withdraw consent where consent is the basis for its use.
